How Google Search Works?

There is a Googlebot (Google’s web crawling robot and it consists of many computers, requesting and fetching pages much more quickly and easily than you can with your web browser)which finds and retrieves pages on the web and hands them off to the Google indexer.

Googlebot provides the indexer the full text of the pages it finds, and these pages are stored in Google’s index database. This index is sorted alphabetically by search term, and it helps to find easily the web pages

After all this comes the Query Processor, which is the one that makes the queries (searches) for the inside and also includes the User Interface or as we call it "the Search Box"
